LOW CARB: SPICY SHRIMP ALFREDO W/SPAGHETTI SQUASH SUBBING AS PASTA

THE FINISHED PRODUCT!!! 


OUT THE OVEN THIS IS HOW IT LOOKS..WELL KINDA.. I ALREADY REMOVED THE SEEDS.. 


THIS IS WHAT SPAGHETTI SQUASH LOOKS LIKE DONE!


DIRECTIONS:
USE SKEWER TO POKE HOLES ALL AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE SQUASH SO IT DOESNT EXPLODE IN OVEN... BAKE FOR EXACTLY 1 HOUR AFTER PREHEATING OVEN AT 375..



TOPPING:
6 OUNCES OF ANY KIND OF MEAT.. I USE SHRIMP AND/OR CHICKEN BREAST
30 GRAMS EACH:RED ONION; RED PEPPER; GREEN PEPPER; YELLOW PEPPER
1/2 CUP OF CHICKEN BROTH LOW SODIUM
1 1/2 OUNCE OF CREAM CHEESE
3 TBSPOONS OF PARMESAN CHEESE
1 TSPN PAPRIKA
1/2 TSPN OF GARLIC
1/2 TSPN BLACK PEPPER
DASH OF SALT
1/2 TSPN OF CRUSHED RED PEPPER


IN A SKILLET SPRAY WITH BUTTER SPRAY. I USE CRISCO SPRAY. SAUTE THE VEGGIES UNTIL DONE THEN ADD SHRIMP . SHOULD SEASON THE MIX.

IN A PAN. ADD BROTH AND CREAM CHEESE AND REMAINDER AND SEASONINGS.
HEAT SHOULD BE LOW.. STIR UNTIL IT BECOMES A SAUCE.. ADD 2 TBSPNS OF THE PARMESAN CHEESE STIR..

THEN ON A PLATE PLACE A CUP OF THE THE SPAGHETTI.. THEN THE MEAT AND VEGGIES.. THEN AD THE SAUCE ON TOP.. DONE!
